Research and Teaching
As my career is in academia I engage in both research and teaching and do so with a student-centered focus. I believe Higher Education can be a life changing and positive experience for so many people. However, I also believe Higher Education has a long way to go to ensure students are fully, and properly, supported and challenged in a safe and supportive environment.
I hope my research and teaching will feed into this and help students to progress while having a positive student experience.

As a keen researcher, my research interests are varied.
The research I engage in is directed by my work in education and so I am concentrating on innovative ways of teaching research methods amongst other areas.

Currently I am an Education Consultant in the UK. I have many roles in education organisations. My teaching specialities are in Research Design, methods and statistics, Academic skills, Safeguarding, Health and Wellbeing, and Education among other subjects.

Working with SAGE Publishing Ltd. and across education organisations means there are lots of new projects happening and upcoming.
